Yoga Nidra (Yogic Sleep)

Developed by Swami Satyananda Saraswati, Yoga Nidra is a structured method for achieving deep physical, mental, and emotional relaxation, commonly referred to as “psychic sleep.” It serves as an effective tool for managing stress, with the claim that one hour of practice offers the restorative equivalent of four hours of ordinary sleep. The practice helps release long-held tensions, improves the quality of sleep, strengthens memory, enhances creative abilities, and supports personal transformation through the incorporation of a sankalpa (a personal resolve).
